How True Homecare came to own home care search across Stockport

A local SEO campaign that put one provider on page one for the searches families make, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.

True Homecare, an in-home personal care provider in Stockport, Greater Manchester, came to SEO for Homecare needing real visibility in a crowded local market. We built a hyper-local SEO and digital PR campaign that now ranks the site on the first page of Google for 36 home care keywords across 16 Stockport neighbourhoods.

Winning a town one neighbourhood at a time

Local home care search is unusually fragmented. A family in Bramhall doesn't search the same way as a family in Edgeley — they add their own area to the query, and they expect to find someone who clearly serves there. For a provider like True Homecare, that means a single "home care Stockport" ranking isn't enough. You have to show up across every district you cover, against established local competitors who've been around for years.

    Digital PR through HARO

    Using HARO (Help a Reporter Out, the journalist-sourcing service), we landed interviews and expert commentary from the owner on authority websites — turning real expertise into earned links and genuine brand visibility.

The results

True Homecare now appears on page one for the searches that actually convert — local, intent-heavy queries from families looking for care in their own area. Spreading that visibility across 16 neighbourhoods, backed by a credible link profile and real press coverage, is what turns a local provider into the obvious choice in its patch.
